The Lucky Lottery Calendar: Supporting Our Mission with Every Ticket

Since its launch in 1998, the Lucky Lottery Calendar project has been a vital part of funding the work of the Pennsylvania Catholic Daughters of the Americas. With a twofold purpose, this initiative not only supports the daily operations of the State Court but also provides extra funds for charitable donations, disaster relief efforts, and membership outreach across the Commonwealth.

Funding Charity and Growth

Proceeds from the calendar sales have been used to quickly respond to disasters like Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake, and the tsunami in Japan. They have also helped support seminarians, supplemented pro-life programs across Pennsylvania’s eight dioceses, and made it possible for state officers to travel to establish or strengthen local courts. With the continued success of this project, the Catholic Daughters remain well-positioned to assist whenever future needs arise.

How It Works

Each local court receives calendars to sell to members, friends, family, and the wider community—anyone, Catholic or not, is welcome to purchase one. Courts are also encouraged to buy a calendar for their chaplain and the court itself.

For $25, buyers get a full year of chances to win cash prizes based on the Pennsylvania State Lottery’s evening three-digit number. Winners receive $30 Monday through Friday, $40 on Saturdays, and $60 on Sundays. Special $100 prizes are awarded on designated holidays like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the Assumption of Our Lady. Payouts are distributed twice a month, and winners can easily check results at www.palottery.state.pa.us.
